Lessons From the Psalms - Psalm 91

Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. On today's podcast we will be going over Psalm 91. Psalm 91 is one of the most famous psalms - yet the author is unknown. My Bible (the Nelson Study Bible) suggest it may have been written my Moses - who wrote Psalm 90 - but it is merely a suggestion. After reading the entirety of this psalm I will break the psalm down into four parts - verses 1 & 2; verses 3-8; verses 9-13 & verses 14-16. By the end of this psalm there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. "He is my refuge and my fortress," My God, in Him I will trust.
2. A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.
3. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him my salvation. This third point is actually God Himself speaking to us and promising this third point to us.
