Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 90. Psalm 90 is the only psalm that is attributed to the great prophet Moses. Psalm 90 is entitled "The Eternity of God, and Man's Frailty." After reading this psalm I will break it down into five parts. By the end of this psalm there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. Even from everlasting to everlasting You are God.
2. The days of our lives are 70 years, and if by reason of strength they are 80 years.
3. Let the beauty of the Lord over God be upon us.
In summary, this psalm reminds us that God is supreme and we are mere man. Our years on Earth are limited and we are to make the most of them. We should live our lives with the goal of living productive lives which further advance the Kingdom of God.
