Lessons From the Psalms - Psalm 86

Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 86. Psalm 86 is attributed to King David and is a beautiful psalm. I begin the lesson by requesting that, if you are able, to find a comfortable spot and close your eyes - so that you will be able to meditate (and close your eyes) as I read this psalm. I will then break down this psalm in its entirety. By the end of this lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. Be merciful to me, O Lord, For I cry to You all day long.
2. For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God
3. But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious.
Call to Action - Before going to bed tonight, I ask that you take the time to reread this psalm and meditate on the goodness of God as you get into bed.
