Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 65. Psalm 65 is attributed to King David. This is one of my favorite psalms. It is a classic example of why more people read the Book of Psalms than any other book of the Bible. I believe even non-Christians often check out this book. Psalm 65 is a prophetic psalm. It tells us that one day everyone on earth will eventually come to God. God assures us in this psalm that He is our salvation - because of what Jesus did for us on the cross. It mentions the fact that He created the earth and that He provides rain for us as well. We close with the goodness of God and the promise is given that all who put their trust in Him will have all of their needs met.
