Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 59. Psalm 59 is attributed to King David. This psalm is based on the text found in 1 Samuel, Chapter 19. This psalm describes the account of King Saul desiring to kill David (David is not yet king). This is the beginning of David becoming a fugitive (where he ran, and hid from King Saul for a period of about two years). I will then break down this psalm verse by verse.
