Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 57. Psalm 57 is attributed to David - a man who later became king of the country of Israel. In this particular psalm David is hiding in a cave and has an opportunity to kill King Saul. However, he has such respect for the king that he chooses, instead, to simply cut off a portion of his robe. The psalm reminds us that no matter what we are facing in this life, if we seek God we will be able to overcome our enemies. We must be firm in our decisions. We must continue to walk the path that God has chosen for us.
