Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 52. This psalm was written by King David, a king of Israel that lived prior to Jesus walking on the Earth. This is one of many psalms that differentiate between people who have a fear of God ( a good thing) and those that either don't acknowledge that there is a God, or do not include Him in their every day lives. Naturally, this psalm then comes to the conclusion that those that don't acknowledge God will not end up in very good shape. Those who put their trust in God (or His son Jesus) and humbly come to them will have God's mercy and lead successful lives.
