Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 38. In this psalm King David is asking God for mercy. He is feeling guilty of some sin in his life that he is feeling bad about. Verses that I would stress in this psalm are verses 9 & 10; verses 15 & 16; and verses 21 & 22. These verses demonstrate the love that David had for God and the relationship which he obviously had with Him.
