Lessons From the Psalms - Psalm 29

Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 29. I will begin by reading this psalm. This psalm was written by King David of Israel over 1,000 prior to the birth of Jesus. David is known as a man after God's own heart. He had an intimate relationship with God. I will read commentary written in my Bible (the Nelson Study Bible) for verses 3 & verses 5-9. I will then explain why this psalm is still relevant to us today in our present world. I will go over and break this verse down verse by verse. I will end with the thought that if we have a relationship with the living God, He will give us peace that passes all understanding.
