Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 22. Psalm 22 is one of the most powerful of all the psalms. That is because this is the psalm where is was prophesied what Jesus would have to go through on the cross. This psalm discusses everything that happened on the cross and also discusses the resurrection of Jesus three days later. I ask that the audience close their eyes as I read this psalm. I will give several key commentaries which help understand very important aspects of this psalm.
