Lessons From the Psalms - Psalm 145

Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 145. Psalm 145 is entitled Great is the Lord. It is the last of the psalms written by David, who later became king of Israel. Psalm 145 talks about the goodness of God and how faithful God has been to all who call upon His name. David finds a number of different words to describe the goodness of God, but it is clear of his love for God and his dependence on Him. By the end of this lesson there are three things I ask that everyone consider:
1. The Lord is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His works.
2. The Lord is near to all who call on Him; to all who call on Him in truth.
3. The Lord preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.
