Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 123. Psalm 123 is an anonymous psalm and is the 4th of 15 consecutive psalms entitled the Songs of Ascents. This is a very short psalm - but there are a couple things we can take away from this psalm. We are to look to God whenever we have a need. He is exceedingly merciful towards us. Finally, we are filled with contempt, but looking to God will take our minds off the things of this world, and remind us of the goodness of God.
