1. My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth (this point reminds us that we are to put our trust in God - see Proverb 3:5-6).
2. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. (Friends, our soul is the most important part of our being. It, and it alone, will determine whether we spend eternity with Jesus in Heaven, or in hell (with the devil).
3. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in. From this time forth, and even forevermore. (This verse goes along with the fact that He will never leave us, nor forsake us).
