Lessons From the Psalms - Psalm 119

Welcome To Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 119; Psalm 119 is an anonymous psalm. It is also quite unique, in that it is the longest chapter of the entire Bible (encompassing 176 verses). One message from this psalm is that we are to live a lifestyle that demonstrates obedience to the Lord, who is a God of order. Three takeaways from this Psalm:
1. Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart (verse 2).
2. Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against you (verse 11);
3. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path (verse 105).
