Lessons From the Psalms - Psalm 116

Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 116. Psalm 116 is an anonymous psalm and is also a messianic psalm. Psalm 116 is also a Passover psalm and was probably quoted by Jesus on the night He was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane. After reading the psalm in its entirety I will give my three takeaways from this psalm:
1. Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; Yes, our God is merciful.
2. I will take up the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the Lord.
3. O Lord, truly I am your servant.
