Lessons From the Psalms - Psalm 103

Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Psalm 103. Psalm 103 is attributed to King David of Israel and is one of my favorite psalms. That being the case, and the fact that there are so many verses we could focus in on I ask the audience that, if able to do so, that they pause what they are doing, find a place to relax, and close their eyes and meditate on this psalm as I read it. I will then go over the first 10 verses of the psalm. By the end of the lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. God forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases.
2. God redeems our life from destruction and crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies.
3. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy.
Friends, this is a beautiful psalm that reminds us of a number of promises that we can claim as our own if we have received Jesus as our Lord and Savior
