972. Romans Chapter 9 - Through Isaac shall your offspring be named - March 9, 2026

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 9. I will then key in on verses 7-9. These three verses talk about the difference between scoffers and people who are wise (or righteous). Proverbs tells us in several chapters that blessings will come upon the wise (including long life) while scoffers will not be blessed. On today's podcast we will be continuing our study of the Book of Romans. Today we will be going over the first seven verses of Chapter 9. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart.
2. The promises belong to the Jewish people, but many have rejected Him (Jesus).
3. Through Isaac shall your offspring be blessed.
