872. Luke, Chapter 19 (#4) Now as He drew near He saw the city and wept over it - September 4, 2025

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 4. I will then key in on verse 23 - Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. Friends, it is important that we keep our heart pure - and not on things of evil. Whatever we allow to get into our hearts will eventually be what comes out of our mouths in the words we speak. On today's podcast we will be continuing our study of the Gospel, according to Luke. Before beginning today's lesson I will review the three points I introduced on yesterday's podcast (#871 - If you did not get a chance to tune in to that podcast, I invite you to do so). I will then pick up where we left off yesterday. Today we will be completing the 19th chapter of Luke - going over two short passages of scripture. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. Now as He drew near He saw the city and wept over it.
2. "My house is a house of prayer, but you have turned it into a den of thieves."
3. Jesus' actions at the temple caused the Jewish religious leaders to strengthen their resolve to destroy Him.
Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:
Proverb 4:23; Luke 19:41-48; Josh 11:35-36; Isaiah 56:7; Jeremiah 7:11; Luke 21:37-38; Luke 22:52-53
