867. Luke Chapter 19 - The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost - 8/28/ 2025

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 28. I will then key in on verse 8 - One who increases his possessions by usury and extortion Gathers if for him who will pity the poor. Friends, Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector, and was rich. When he heard Jesus was going to visit his town, he declared to himself that, as of today, his life would change forever. Jesus asked him to come down out of the tree and told him he would be eating with Him. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.
2. Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusations, I restore fourfold.
3. The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Scriptures referenced on today's lesson:
Proverb 28:8; Luke 19:1-10; Joshua 6:26; Luke 5:30; Luke 15:2; Psalm 41:1; Exodus 22:1; Luke 13:16-17
Call to Action - A question for you: How do you treat people that you do not know? Do you ever take advantage of them? Or do you ask yourself how you can assist them in some way, shape, or form? Think about it.
