858. Luke Chapter 18 (#2) I thank God that I am not like other men - August 14, 2025

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 14. I will then key in on verse 12 - There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Friends, today we will be talking about the contrast between pride and humility. It is something that we need to be aware of. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. I thank God that I am not like other men (friends, we should never compare ourselves to other peoples).
2. Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. (in our lesson today a king, King Nebuchadnezzar was full of pride - and God humbled him (and because he humbled himself, God then restored his kingdom back to him).
3. King Nebuchadnezzar unmistakably acknowledges Daniel's God as the omnipotent, eternal, sovereign of the universe.
