Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 17. I will then key in on verse 1 - Better is a dry morsel with quietness, Than a house full of feasting with strife. Friends, we are to do all we can to avoid strife - a lesson we can learn from the Parable of the Prodigal Son. On today's podcast we will continue our study of the Gospel according to Luke. I will begin this lesson by reviewing the three points I brought up on yesterday's podcast - Episode #838 - If you did not get a chance to tune in to that podcast I invite you to do so. We will then conclude the 15th Chapter of Luke - beginning in verse 25. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. The older brother is NOT happy about his brother's return.
2. The older brother is angry that the Dad is going to celebrate the younger son with a party.
3. Where we are going to spend eternity is more important that anything else.
