Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 26. I will then key in on verse 17 - He who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a dog by the ears. Friends, I venture to say that if you go up to a dog that you do not know and, instead of petting it, you pull its ears that things will not go well for you. This verse tells us that if we meddle in a quarrel that is not yours the same thing will happen. On today's podcast I will recap the first three chapters of the Book of Ephesians. I completed my study of the Book of Ephesians a couple weeks ago. The past two weeks I published previously published podcasts covering the 1st and 2nd chapters of the Book of James. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
2. For by grace you have been saved through faith, it is a gift of God.
3. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:
Proverb 26:17; Ephesians 1:7; Ephesians 2:8; Ephesians 3:20-21
Call to Action - When you have 30-45 minutes to read the Bible, and don't know where to go (on a particular day_ may I recommend that you consider reading the Book of Ephesians (on a regular basis)?
