Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 16. I will then key in on verse 7 - When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Friends, we are to do our best to please God in all that we do. This verse tells us that if we do that, even our enemies will be at peace with us. I will begin today's podcast by reviewing the three points I introduced on Monday's podcast (Episode #791 - if you did not get a chance to tune in I invite you to do so). I will then continue my study on the Book of Ephesians. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. No fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
2. Paul gives the Colossians instructions concerning proper conduct.
3. By your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:
Proverb 16:7; Ephesians 5:3; Colossians 3:5-8; Lukse 12:15; Matthew 12:34-37; Titue 3:9; Romans 1:28; Phillippians 4:6-7
Call to Action - Ask yourself if you are still anxious, or have you made your requests known to God? (If you are still anxious, or if you haven't made your requests made known to God, may I suggest you pray to God and do so).
