Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 26. I will then key in on verse 28 - A lying tongue hates those who are crushed by it, And a flattering mouth works ruin. Friends, this verse tells us that our words can bring great harm to people - especially if you make up stuff about people you know that isn't true. The second part of that verse is a warning that you should consider when people try to butter you up and tell you how great you are. You need to be discerning and consider their motives. On today's podcast I will begin by reviewing the three points that I brought up on Monday's podcast (Episode #776 - If you did not get a chance to check it out, I invite you to do so). I will then go over three scripture passages which solidify those three points. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.
2. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up
3. The second coming of Christ and the establishment of His kingdom will occur the same way Jesus ascended: Physically visibly, and in the clouds.
