755. How to Become a Mature Christian (#2) February 21, 2025

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 21. I will then key in on verses 1 & 2 - The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water, He turns it wherever He wishes. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts. Friends, we need to turn our heart over to God. We also need ti place our cares upon Him - for He cares for us. On today's podcast I will begin by reviewing the three points I brought up two weeks ago when I began a new study entitled How to Become a Mature Christian. I will then continue this study by going over three scripture passages. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. The devil walks about like a roaring lion - seeking whom he may devour.
2. We need to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
3. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God to the pulling down of strongholds.

Call to Action - Reviewing the three points I made on today's lesson I ask you these three questions:
1. Do you allow satan to influence your life?
2. How many things in your life do you believe that do not line up with the Word of God? (the Bible)
3. Are you aware that we are in a spiritual battle, and that we have to be aware of that (to not fall into pitfalls that derail the plan of God for our lives)?
