Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 6. I will then key in on verse 2 - You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth. Friends, our word is important. If someone asks us for help financially, for instance, do not say that you can help them (if you are not sure that you currently have the funds available to help them). If they ask you for several hours of your time to help them with a project of some sort, do not automatically say that you can do it (without checking your calendar to make sure you are able to do it). On today's podcast we will continue our study of the Book of Ephesians. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1In Him also we have obtained an inheritance.
2. All of God's children have an inheritance based on their relationship with God.
3. God chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.
Scripture verses referenced on today's lesson:
Ephesians 1:9-12; Romans 8:16-17; 2 Thess 2:13; Romans 12:1-2 Proveb 6:2
Call to Action - When someone asks you for help (financially) or with a project (time availability) do you check to make sure you either currently have the funds available to help them, or the time available to assist them with that project)? Our word is important. If you make a promise, make sure you can fulfill that promise.
