Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 27. I will then key in on verse 11 - My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, That I may answer him who reproaches me. Friends, we are to instruct our children (and grandchildren) in the word of God. It should be on our minds (and in our hearts) at all times. On today's podcast I will begin my introduction of Paul's beautiful letter to the church of Ephesus. We know this as the Book of Ephesians. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. The Romans could imprison Paul, but they could not imprison the spread of the Good News.
2. The early church fathers were unanimous in ascribing the letter of Ephesians to Paul.
3. Paul's ministry at Ephesus was marked by several Spirit- empowered miracles.
Call to Action: Ask yourself how important it is to you to share the Bib le with your children (and grandchildren)? Do they know how important the Word of God is to you (and in your life)?
