729. Habakkuk - CH 3 (#3) Pride Goes before Destruction, And a Haughty Spirit before a Fall -Jan 16

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 16. I will then key in on verse 18 - Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall. Friends, the Bible tells us that God resists the proud, but He gives grace to the humble. We should have humility before God (and before other people). We should avoid pride above all things. On today's podcast we will continue our study of the minor prophet Habakkuk. We will pick up where we left off on yesterday's podcast. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. You went forth for the salvation of your people.
2. When He comes up to the people He will invade them with His troops.
3. Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Call to Action: Go to a mirror and ask yourself these questions?
- Are you full of pride?
- Do you have a haughty spirit?
-Do you feel you are better than other people?
-Do you feel people owe you something simply because of who you are?
If so, I ask that you consider going to God in prayer, and asking Him to deliver you from that spirit of pride.
