welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will go over Proverb 1. I will then briefly discuss verse 5 and the fact that it has been exactly three months to the day that I began this podcast. I reflect on the fact that verse 5 is very real to me - in that I feel I have grown a great deal in these three months. I am feeling much more comfortable when doing these podcasts and I feel they are improving because of the growth that God has made in me. I will then share with the audience the 1st chapter of 1st John. The author of John's gospel wrote this chapter. He was the disciple whom Jesus loved (as he refers to himself). The first four verses of 1st John remind John of the 3 and 1/2 years that Jesus had his early ministry that John was able to be a part of. He reflects on the impact that Jesus had had on him and he wants to continue the ministry that Jesus started with the people around him.
