Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 12. I will then key in on verse 1 - Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid. By the end of today's lesson we will learn that the Israelites that lived in the day of the minor prophet Hosea were just plain "stupid." On today's podcast we will continue our study of the minor prophet Hosea. I will begin by reviewing the three points that I made on yesterday's podcast (Episode 638). We will then begin the 7th chapter of Hosea. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. They make a king glad with their wickedness.
2. None of them calls upon Me.
3. They do not return to the Lord their God.
Call to Action - Ask yourself if you are "stupid"? - not the question you want to hear? Well, how well do you take correction (from your spouse, your boss, or your closest friend? Are you open to their rebuke - if you are doing something noticeably wrong in your life?
