Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 28. I will then key in on verse 13 - He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. Friends, after today's lesson you will understand that we could very easily be talking about the Israelites in this verse (during the time of the prophet Hosea). They had turned away from God and succumbed to Baal worship. They definitely were not prospering as a nation. After today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. Love a woman who is loved by a lover.
2. So I bought her for myself.
3. The children of Israel shall return & seek the Lord their God.
Call to Action - Have you fallen into the trap that the Israelites of Hosea's time did - having a good (or idol) in your life? Think about it. It could be your job; it could be drugs; it could be alcohol; it could be watching sports - an idol is anything that you place before your relationship with God.
