Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. On today's podcast we will be going over Proverb 22. I will then key in on verse 1 - A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, Loving favor rather than silver and gold. Friends, in today's lesson we will find that the country of Israel had gotten so far away from God that He no longer felt Israel had a "good name". She had reverted to Baal worship and God had basically given up on her (the country of Israel). We will continue our study on the Prophet Hosea. We will be going over the first 13 verses of Chapter 2. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. She is not my wife, nor am I her husband.
2. God will not have mercy on a sinful nation.
3. People may eventually forget the Lord God.
