Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 19. I will then key in on verse 11 - The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger; And his glory is to overlook a transgression. Friends, we need to learn to have patience and to restrain ourselves from acting impulsively. On today's podcast we will continue our study in the Gospel according to Luke. We will look at the Transfiguration of Jesus. By the end of today's lesson there are three things that I ask that you consider:
1. Jesus is transfigured on the Mount.
2. Moses and Elijah speak with Jesus about His decease.
3. God again declares Jesus as His son.
Call to Action - I would like everyone to review these three statements today and ask yourself what God is trying to tell us in today's lesson? I believe He is wanting us to know beyond the shadow of a doubt that Jesus is His son, and that we are to treat Him as such.
