Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 12. I will then go over verse 26 - The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray. Friends, as followers of Christ we should choose fellow Christians as our closest friends. If we choose otherwise we may be tempted to do things we should not be doing. On today's podcast we will see Jesus sending out His 12 disciples to preach the Gospel and to heal the sick. By the end of this lesson, there are three things that I ask that you consider:
1. Jesus sent His disciples out to preach the Gospel & to heal the sick.
2. Take nothing for the journey.
3. Some people will not receive the message you bring. During this podcast I also brought up two very important scriptures everyone should be familiar with: Hebrews 13:8 & John 14:12
Call to Action - Ask yourself if you are a disciple (a true follower) of Jesus, or simply a convert of Jesus (one who said the sinner's prayer, but doesn't do anything with it)?
