561. Gospel of Luke - Chapter 7 (#4) - The Tax Collectors Embraced John the Baptist - May 27, 2024

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 27. I will then key in on verse 27 - As iron Sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Friends, we will find out in today's lesson that both John the Baptist and Jesus would often tell people things that they didn't necessarily want to hear (but that they needed to hear). By the end of today's lesson there are two things that I ask that you consider:
1. The tax collectors embraced John the Baptist's message that they needed to repent.
2. The lawyers and the Pharisees did not.
