Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 23. I will then key in on verse 4 - Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease. The man we will be talking about on today's lesson, John the Baptist, certainly is an example of this. He lived (and preacher) out in the desert. He wore old clothes and sandals and had a scraggly beard and unkempt hair. On today's podcast we will continue where we left off yesterday (in Chapter 7). By the end of today's lesson there are three things that I ask that you consider:
1. Jesus tells John's disciples to tell John the things they have seen and heard.
2. Blessed is he that is not offended because of me.
3. Jesus proclaims the purpose of why John the Baptist came.
Call to Action - John the Baptist's message was to repent. My call to action today is also to repent - and turn to God.
