Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 15. I will then key in on verse 9 - The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, But He loves him who follows righteousness. Friends, this verse is very clear. To please God we must NOT do evil, but be righteous. Over and over again in the Book of Proverbs it talks about the benefits you will receive for being righteous and the bad things that will happen to you if you are not righteous. On today's podcast, I will continue our study on the Gospel according to Luke. We will go over Chapter 3, verses 18-38. Upon completion of this lesson I ask that you consider three things:
1. Herod the tetrarch puts John the Baptist in prison (for rebuking him).
2. God announces that Jesus is His son (immediately upon being baptized).
3. Luke traces Jesus's lineage all the way back to Adam.
Call to Action - Imagine what it must have been like that day - when God orally spoke from Heaven announcing that Jesus was His son, and that He was well pleased with Him.
