526. Luke - Chapter 2 (#2) Simeon Announces Jesus as the Savior of the World - April 8, 2024

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 8. I will then key in on verses 22 & 23 - The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old. I have been established from everlasting, From the beginning, before there was ever an earth. Friends, wisdom was present with God (and His son Jesus) before there was ever an Earth. Friends, wisdom was present with God (and His son Jesus) before the foundation of the world. Knowing that makes me believe that they both want all of us to have wisdom - and to use and apply it in our everyday lives. On today's podcast we will continue our study of the Gospel according to Luke. We will begin in Chapter 2. Upon completion of this lesson there are three things that I ask you to consider:
1. Simeon announces Jesus as the Savior of the world.
2. Anna, the prophetess, also reveals Jesus as the Redeemer of the world.
3. After being dedicated in the temple, Joseph, Mary, and the baby Jesus return to their hometown of Nazareth.
