449. Job - Chapter #26 - God Created the Galaxies! December 21, 2023

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 21. I will then key in on verse 3 - To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. On today's podcast we will continue our study on the Book of Job. Today we will be taking a closer look at Chapter #26. This is the first of six chapters that Job has the microphone and he is going to make his feelings and thoughts known to God. By the time we complete this chapter I would like for you to think about three things:
1. Who is mere man?
2. God controls the seas.
3. God created the galaxies!
Righteousness and justice is very important to God. Many people on earth make a point of sacrificing to God (i.e. some Catholics during the period of Lent give up eating certain foods, or not watching tv for a month, or so). That is not what pleases God. It's being righteous & doing good that pleases Him.
Suggested Scripture reading: Reread the proverb of the day, Proverb 21 in its entirety; reread today's chapter, Job, Chapter #26 in its entirety.
