Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 13. I will then key in on verse 6 - Righteousness guards him whose way is blameless, But wickedness overthrows the sinner. Friends, this verse magnifies the contrast between being righteous (and basically doing good) and wickedness (doing things that God would not approve of). Today we will continue our study of the Book of Job. Three things that I would like for you to consider about this chapter are:
1. God loves righteousness and justice (Psalm 33:5; Jeremiah 9:24)
2. God chastens those He loves (Hebrews 12:5-7)
3. We are to care for the widows and the hungry (1 Timothy 5:3-10)
Call to Action - Ask yourself if you are caring for the widows (in your neighborhood, your church, etc?)
