1. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom - Enough said. We need to have a healthy, reverential fear of God to lead a successful life (especially the type of life that He would have you to live).
2. Zophar urges Job to repent - As his two friends previously did, Zophar believes that the calamity that came upon Job was due to something going on in his life. We have seen that that was an inaccurate assessment.
3. Zophar suggest we can not know the deep things of God - This statement makes sense - in light of when the Book of Job was written. Now, that we have the entire Bible at our disposal we can, indeed, know the deep things of God (but you will have to search and read scripture to truly comprehend it).
4. Zophar urges Job to seek God in prayer - Friends, this is always good advice. I would recommend this to all listeners today as well. Whenever you have a need, immediately seek God in prayer.
Call to Action: Look for someone today who looks like they could use a compliment, and go out of your way and pay them that compliment. See if you can put a smile on someone's face.
