Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 12. I will then key in on verse 4 - An excellent wife is the crown of her husband. The words used in this verse are the same Hebrew words used in the famous acrostic in the 31st chapter of Proverbs. Many people know the saying - a "Proverb 31 woman." We all want these women. They are priceless, but, I believe, they are more common than you think. My thought is that, if you treat your wife as though she is the most important person in the world (because she is), she will begin to act that way. I believe that is true in any relationship we have. Let people know that you care about them, and love them, and most people will respond in kind. If any relationship is going to be successful, you need to cherish, or nurture that relationship. I don't know what I would do without my wife. She simply makes my life better - in any situation, and regardless of what is going on. Call to action - Close your eyes and ask God if you are behaving this way in the relationship with your spouse (and in every relationship that is important to you). If you answer no to that question, ask God which relationship needs a little "gardening?" Suggested scripture reading - Reread today's proverb, Proverb 12, in its entirety.
