Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 21. I will then key in on verse 20 - There is desirable treasure, And oil in the dwelling of the wise, But a foolish man squanders it. God has called each of us to be stewards of what He has given us. This verse tells us that the fool doesn't even take care of his own stuff. Judy and I just returned from our trip to Maui, Hawaii yesterday afternoon. We spent five nights and five days on the beautiful island of Maui. One day, we took a short flight to the island of Oahu to visit Pearl Harbor. Having been a veteran of the Army for four years many years ago, I don't believe you can visit Hawaii without paying respect to those who gave their lives for our country. It is a wonderful memorial to those men and a place I believe anyone visiting Hawaii should visit. If you steward what God has given you (beginning with your relationships). Judy tends to take care of the inside of the house, and I take care of the yard. Call to action: Ask God if you are being a steward to: a. your spouse and your children; b. your job and your fellow employees at work; c. your house and yard?
