Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will begin by reading Proverb 19. We will then highlight verse 5. We will revisit the story of Abraham and Isaac and discuss the blessing that Isaac places on Jacob (at the expense of Esau). This story is found in Genesis Chapter 27:1-20. We will then find out in verse 41 that Esau has designs to kill Jacob because he has stolen his blessing. So, two things happen that are a direct reflection of the deception of Jacob in this story. First, he fears for his life because of Esau. Second is that Rebekah never gets to see her favorite son, Jacob, again.
