Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 29. I will then key in on verse 7 - The righteous considers the cause of the poor, But the wicked does not understand such knowledge. Friends, as Christians, we are to be mindful of the poor. We are to consider their circumstances and to help out when they ask for it as long as it is within our means to do so. Conversely, many people are not mindful of the poor. Regardless of the need, they are more interested in their own lives and the things they have need of. Jesus is a good example that we can follow. Today, we will continue our study of Matthew's gospel. I will read verses 20-28 of Chapter 20. These verses develop the story where the mother of the sons of Zebedee ask Jesus that her two sons be placed at the right hand and the left hand of Jesus when He goes into His kingdom.
