Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 19. I will then go over verse 11 - The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, And his glory is to overlook a transgression. Friends, I point out this verse because this is one verse that I have made some improvements in my life with. There was a point in my life where I was pretty quick to get angry, and I was, at times, very impatient. This verse tells us that we are to be slow to anger. I believe this means that we are to develop patience. In James, Chapter 1, it tells us to let patience have her "perfect work". I believe a sign that you are acquiring wisdom in your life is that, in the area of patience, you are showing improvement, and also when you show restraint. The second part of this verse recommends that we learn to overlook transgressions as well. This may be difficult at times, but, with the Holy Spirit dwelling on the inside of us, I believe that we can do this. On today's podcast we will take a look at the 15th Chapter of Matthew's gospel. Enjoy!
