Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 16. I will then key in on verse 21 - The wise in heart will be called prudent, And sweetness of the lips increases learning. Friends, this is one verse of many that talks about the benefits of acquiring wisdom and implementing it in your life. One thing I will say about wisdom - it is never easily gained or quickly achieved. It, like anything in life worth any importance is something that you will have to invest in, put your heart into, and spend some time with in order for it to bear fruit. This is one of the reasons it is so important to read - both scripture and other books as well. Today we will look at the 13th chapter of Matthew's gospel and go over why Jesus would speak to the common folk of that time in parables. I will read verses 10-17 and explain to them - and that's because they were trying to understand His words using human reasoning, instead of being led by the Spirit. Because of this, they couldn't understand what He was intending to get a cross to them. I will then go over the Parable of the Wheat and Tares.
