Welcome to Wisdom today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 1. I will then key in on verse 7 - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction. I will then read the commentary of my Bible and share what it has on this verse. Friends, all wisdom begins with having a reverence for God and who He is. For anyone that shuns God, or dismisses Him as being real basically forgets the right to have wisdom. We must come to the place where we acknowledge Him for who He is if we are to live the life that He would have us live. Today, I will continue our study on humility. I will introduce you to a woman named Rahab, a harlot who lived in the town of Jericho. I will read the entire 2nd chapter of the Book of Joshua.
