Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 20. I will then key in on v verse 20 - Whoever curses his father or his mother, His lamp will be put out in deep darkness. The fifth commandment tells us to Honor our Father and our Mother. Many people have a hard time with that, as they don't have a close relationship with their earthly parents and have pretty much estranged themselves from their parents. If that is you, you are not alone. May I suggest that if that is the type of relationship that you have with your parents that you simply pray for them. This verse goes beyond that. This verse is warning people to not curse their parents. If you do that, this verse is telling us that things will not go well with you. I suggest you heed this verse and not do that. Today I will be introducing you to Abraham, now known as the Father of our Faith.
