Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 23. I will then key in on verse 22 - Listen to your father who gave you birth, And do not despise your mother when she is old. Friends it's important that we honor our father and mother. Paul tells us in the Book of Ephesians Chapter 6: verses 1-3 - Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise, that is may be well with you and you may live long on the earth. Today we will continue our study on the Book of Exodus. I will not read any of the chapter, per se, but will go over three laws:
1. The law concerning servants
2. The law concerning violence
3. The concerning animal control laws
